About Alyvia

Alyvia (who goes by Livy) was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo and adopted by her forever family at the age of two. Soon after arriving home, her mom and dad learned of her hearing loss. She received hearing aids as soon as possible and several months later exchanged one of her hearing aids for a Cochlear implant. Livy spent nearly four years at OVV working with the excellent staff and teachers. Today, she is an energetic 10-year-old who still talks about all of the fun she had at OVV! She loves life and her smile is contagious.
